What to expect during your onboarding process, from account creation to placing an order

Congratulations! We are thrilled you have decided to become a Sysco customer and look forward to becoming your partner!

By now, you may have received an email or two from us.

Credit Application Email

The first email you will receive is your credit application. This will be sent from sysconoreply@sbs.sysco.com. Your application should take approximately 15 minutes to complete and will be reviewed in fewer than 24 hours once submitted. Once your application is approved and your credit terms are assigned, you’ll be able to place your first order with credit terms.

If you are unable to complete the application right away, you have the option to make a purchase with your credit card by simply activating your Sysco Shop account.

Account Information Email

The second email you will receive contains your account information. This email will be sent from customeronboarding@sysco.com. Please keep this information for your records.

Account Activation Email

In as little as 60 minutes after receiving your first email, you will receive an email from noreply@sysco.com allowing you to set a password to activate your Sysco Shop account and set up your delivery day preferences. The activation link within this email will expire after 30 days.

If you have not clicked the link to create a password and activate your account, you'll receive two courtesy reminder emails within this 30-day time window.

Once you’ve activated your Shop account and submitted your delivery preferences, you can search our online catalog, browse the Best of Sysco list, and even make a purchase with your credit card. Please work with your Sales Consultant for any questions about specific products you'd like to purchase.

For the first few hours you have access to Shop, you will see a general catalog while your expanded catalog is being curated. A banner message at the bottom of the page will alert you that your expanded product catalog is being cooked up.
