Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is used to verify customer identity when signing into a Sysco application. It provides an extra layer of security on top of credentials like usernames and passwords. If using a personal device, please ensure you are in accordance with your company policy.

Upon your first login into a Sysco application, you will be prompted to enroll for MFA. You will need to verify your identity using MFA every 7 days. Please note that you may not have access to each Sysco application. For a list of applications, you can review this article.

The following MFA methods will be available, you can select one of the following:

  • SMS (Text) Authentication

  • Email Authentication

  • Google Authenticator/Microsoft Authenticator

SMS (Text) Authentification

  1. Click the Setup button below the Phone Authentication option.

  2. Select your country from the Country drop-down list.

  3. Enter your mobile number in the Phone Number field and click the Send Code button.

  4. You will receive a 6-digit code on your mobile device; enter that code in the Enter Code field.

  5. Click the Verify button to successfully enroll and authenticate.

Email Authentication

  1. Click the Setup button below the Email Authentication option.

  2. Click the Send Code button.

  3. You will receive a 6-digit code to your email; enter that code in the Enter Code field.

  4. Click the Verify button to successfully enroll and authenticate.

Google Authenticator

  1. Click the Setup button below the Google Authenticator option and select your Device Type.

  2. Download the Google Authenticator application from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. and scan the QR code.

  3. In the Google Authenticator app, click the Add a code button.

  4. Scan the QR code that appears on your desktop screen, and you will receive a 6-digit code on your mobile device.

  5. Enter the code in the Enter Code field and click the Verify button to successfully enroll and authenticate.

Microsoft Authenticator

  1. Click the Setup button below the Google Authenticator option and select your Device Type. It will display Google Authenticator, but this is where your Microsoft Authenticator information will be used.

  2. Download the Microsoft Authenticator application from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. and scan the QR code.

  3. In the Microsoft Authenticator app, click the Add a code button.

  4. Scan the QR code that appears on your desktop screen, and you will receive a 6-digit code on your mobile device.

  5. Enter the code in the Enter Code field and click the Verify button to successfully enroll and authenticate.
